In the 2007 rose harvest are the Gold and Silver medal winners from trials in Adelaide - Daybreaker and Cabana.
Many 2006 new varieties are available in larger numbers so if you missed out maybe you can fill that gap this year.
Remember that roses are a field crop and are harvested only once per year, so once they are gone, they really are gone.
The stellar performer for 2006 had to be Tuscan Sun, a no prune, self cleaning flower machine.
Like most good modern roses TS works just as well in a pot on a sunny deck, with a shandy near by of course!!
